Just got home from our first study in the book of James. So glad to see some new faces joining us for this much needed study in the practical teachings of the Proverbs of the New Testament. Many challenges lie ahead…Though we have read this book many times we never cease to need the reminder specially when we are facing new trials. Will we complain? Will we be found trusting in God or wanting answers from different sources? This is the challenge for now. Seek the Lord and ask HIM to grant you the wisdom to learn from the trial you are in so that you may be perfect and mature lacking nothing….

Great study Gab! It spoke volumes to me and I’m sure to the other ladies. Going through trials is where our faith is either strengthened or weakened. I pray that we always go through the trial in such a way that it strengthens our faith, squeezing every little bit of the lesson possible so as to not go through that particular trial again! As Joyce Meyers says, You gotta go through to get thru. No drive through miracles here!!
Thanks for your encouragement…I really needed to hear that message last night as well…as it was pouring out of my mouth I kept thinking “wow, did I need this exhortation right now”. funny because until you get to preach you have no idea how the Holy Spirit takes over and preaches to you first and foremost. Thanks as well for always being there for me to be that soundboard I need in moments when I think I am about to cave in. I am so happy to see you grow so much and to watch the LORD use your life so powerfully in the lives of others. Keep up the good fight of faith. love you always, g
